Sometimes, a customized table is simply a smaller copy of the dining table, but in order to keep the proper proportions, some of its elements (e.g. the thickness of the top or the cross-section of the legs) are scaled down.

If a coffee table stands close to the dining table, it is worth making sure that it matches the other interior elements.
