A table is an extraordinary piece of furniture in any house. It is a companion at meetings, both those formal ones, and those daily ones. It can also serve as a household's command center. Notwithstanding its function, a table is often the primary factor identifying the character of a room.

 

When furnishing apartments and houses, we look for ways to adapt the space where we live to our taste and personality. A custom designed table may perfectly answer these needs, and emphasize the uniqueness of the place where it is located.

Here at MILONI, we make customized tables, so as to meet the expectations of the most demanding clients. Almost half of our production is customized wooden tables. There are many ways to personalize this type of furniture. Usually, at our customers' request, we modify the dimensions of tables, the shades of oil waxes and the extension systems.

We also make customized wooden tables according to a Client's design – provided that these are not copies of other manufacturers' tables.

CUSTOMIZED TABLES - COMPLETED PROJECTS

When choosing customized wooden tables, several issues are worth considering. The first one is the table's size, in particular in the case of extending tables. It is important for a customized table to match the room well. A table too big may dominate a living room or a dining room, and one too small may be inconvenient in its everyday use. Therefore, at the designing stage, it is good to draw the contour of the table with chalk on the floor, both unfolded, and folded. This simple trick will definitely make it easier to choose the right dimensions of the furniture.

The coloration of the table is also very important in its specification. The customized tables manufactured at MILONI are 100% made of wood, the color and pattern of which are, each time, unique – just like the raw material from which they are made. For this reason, a customized wooden table will slightly differ in its color from the floor, or any furniture made from panels laminated with synthetic veneer. At the Client's request, we make wood coloration samples. They help verify, which wood color best matches the room, where the customized table will be standing.

Customized tables may have different extension systems, depending on the furniture's envelope, the dimensions of the top, or the Client's preferences. However it is worth matching the extension system to the place where the table will be placed. If one of a customized table's short sides is to face a wall, the extension system should be selected so that, when extending, there is no need to move the whole furniture away from the wall.  

At MILONI, you can also commission extending tables with an undivided table-top. This type of tables, when folded, looks very aesthetically, since its extension system is not visible.
